Who are the Sea Ventures?
The Sea Ventures Dive Club is a family oriented dive club that is actively involved in diving and socializing. The club meets twice a month, typically every other Saturday, for beach dives up and down Southern California from San Diego to Los Angeles. Each club dive is provided with a dive coordinator that will help coordinate the dive, lead the dive, and pair up dive buddies. Our members encompass a wide range of skill levels from the new diver with less than 20 dives to the seasoned diver with over 500 dives. Regardless of your skill level the group is extremely helpful and willing to go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and have a good time. That's the ultimate goal! Have a good time and do some diving!
In addition, to the monthly club dives the group also coordinates non-diving related activities. We understand that our non-diving friends may not have the love for scuba diving that we do, but they are interested in being involved in one shape or another with our hobby. We have many non-diving club members that are members just to be involved in our socializing events. The club's annual events include the club picnic, Luau Party, Halloween Party, Tie-One-On Party, Christmas Party, and the International Dive Trip. Along with our annual events, the club also coordinates movie nights, camping trips, BBQ's, and weekend get-aways to Mexico and Catalina.
Meetings
The Sea Ventures Dive Club meets the first Thursday of the month for our meetings. Visit our "Club Meetings" section of the web-site to learn about our guest speaker for the month, meeting times and location, along with directions.
Membership
Membership into the Sea Ventures Dive Club is only $40 and is valid for the calendar year. The cost of membership provides you 10 free air fills, $3 additional air fils, and discounts on merchandise at Sea Ventures Dive Center in Fullerton, CA. In addition, membership provides you free access (no cover charges) to selected club events such as camping trips, parties, and BBQ's. 100% of the membership fees collected are used towards club events and socializing activities.
